I woke up to a beautiful Southern California day. We've been having some Santa Ana Winds the past few days and the sky is crystal clear.
One of the local activities in Mission Viejo is taking a walk around our lake. It is a 3.1 mile stretch that gives beautiful views of the lake, the mountains and our Flo Jo Park. This morning, I put on my sneakers, grabbed my walk buddy (the dog) and headed out. There were many others out already. Women in cute track suits (I'm more a sweats and T-shirt type), older couples strolling along and then there were the runners. My dog met some friends along the way too! :)
Mission Viejo is an interesting place to live. There are so many diverse neighborhoods in price, size and amenities that everyone can find a home that meets their requirements. There are condos and townhouses which are priced in the $200,000s. We also have huge custom homes in Canyon Crest and Stoneridge which are behind guarded gates. But with the market pricing fall, we also have a variety of single family homes which are finally affordable again. The Cordovas, El Dorados, and Barcelonas are nice homes with 3 to 4 bedrooms and up to about 1700 sq.ft. They are selling around $450,000. These were built in the 1980s and most have nice sized yards. Going a little bit higher in price, you can find homes FIFA Account in the Madrids which go up to 3000 sq.ft.
